Verification
Booking a holiday in a villa or apartment requires re assurance. It is of paramount importance that there is total trust and confidence in the booking process, and that owners and properties have been verified.
We as owners support a system of verification that will provide you with a holiday that exceeds your expectations.
How does the verification work?
The Villa Rental Association (VRA) is an association of property owners that carry out a verification process where members are asked specific questions that only they as owners can provide. It is not a technical verification, but involves a telephone conversation with the owner. Owners do tend to know each other and can assist in verifying each other.
Once verified, a verified 'kyte' mark is issued, that displays the owner’s unique identifying number. The owner is permitted to display this mark, on all property literature and emails etc. In addition a self adhesive window sticker is issued to the owner which can be affixed to the property.
A directory of members is maintained at the VRA and if there is any doubt regarding the bona fide of the owner simply register on the VRA site and search the directory for the member’s basic details you can in addition e-mail or telephone the VRA who will arbitrate in the process.
Check out the home site of the VRA.
Every member of the site has been verified by the Association as genuinely having a property, and that the property provides top quality holidays.
Members can provide you with advice on getting the most from your holiday.
When you see our verified logo, feel free to check the member out on the VRA home site where you will see genuine feedback from guests, plus an entry from the VRA that reflects an opening summary of the interview that the member has undertaken. You are then free to check by phone with the member and satisfy yourself of the bona fide of the member.
